Advertising and boost terms

Last updated 4 September 2026

These terms apply whenever you boost content, run a campaign in Ads Manager, or promote a place, event or offer.

Your responsibilities

  • Your ad and its landing destination must be lawful, accurate, not misleading, and compliant with the Australian Consumer Law and any local advertising rules.
  • You must hold all rights and approvals for the creative, audio and claims used.
  • Restricted categories (alcohol, gambling, financial services, health, weight loss, dating, political and social issues) require compliance with the applicable rules and may be refused.
  • You must clearly disclose commercial relationships and paid partnerships.

Delivery and measurement

Budgets, reach estimates and forecasts are modelled projections and are not guaranteed. Delivery depends on auction dynamics, audience availability, eligibility checks and moderation. Our measurement is the authoritative record for billing.

We may pause, reject or remove any campaign at any time. Where we remove a campaign for a policy breach, the delivered spend is not refundable.

Billing

Amounts are charged in Australian dollars including GST where applicable. You authorise us and our payment provider to charge the payment method on file for delivered spend.
